Intellectual property rights awareness prog. held in Dimapur
DIMAPUR — A one-day awareness programme on intellectual property rights (IPR) was organised by the Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre, Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), in collaboration with Nagaland Science and Technology Council (NASTEC) and Educentre School of Business (ESB) on Wednesday.
Held at E Space, Duncan Basti, Dimapur, the resource persons for the event were IPR consultant Limasenla Longkumer and the technical in-charge of the Patent Information Centre, NASTEC, Gihukali Chishi, according to a press release.
The programme covered protection under intellectual property rights and the basics of patents, trademarks, designs, and trade secrets and was attended by students and startups.
Information was also shared about the newly established IPFC offices, now available at the Integrated Business Hub and Innovation Centre in Forest Complex, Dimapur, and at the IDAN office in Kohima.
