DIMAPUR — As part of the SBI Gram Seva programme, ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) organised an inter-school event at Khriezephe village ground on Saturday to mark the 68th SBI foundation day.
The event was organised in convergence with the Government Middle Schools and remedial students of five adopted villages namely Khriezephe, Diezephe, Tsithrongse, Urra and Bade.
The event was attended by Nyamo Jami, sub-divisional education officer of Dhansiripar, as the special guest and Jyotiprakash Guru, assistant manager (Operations) SBIF, Mumbai, as the guest of honour, stated an update from AIDA.
It mentioned that SBI foundation day is celebrated on July 1 every year to commemorate the day of the establishment of India’s oldest commercial bank.
The objective of conducting the inter-school event was to bring the students together and interconnect their talents by building good rapport among the students and teachers and the institution respectively. Activities and competitions included volley ball, relay race, football, spell bee, GK and 100 meter race for senior category and water filling, musical chair, balloon fight, spoon race and sweet bite for junior category.
The event concluded with a special appearance by Khriezephe students followed with prize distribution to the winners.
Report stated that over 200 students participated in the events and more than 50 guests attended the programme.
