ITF Nagaland Taekwon-Do seminar held in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The ITF Nagaland Taekwon-Do seminar was held at The Vineyard, Lower Lerie colony, Kohima, on July 29 and the 30th.

The seminar was led by Master Narender Singh Rawat, a 7th degree black belt and technical advisor of the Taekwon-Do Association of India, the Taekwon-Do Association of Nagaland stated in an update.

The seminar was initiated by Michael Kevichüsa, legal advisor of the Taekwon-Do Association of Nagaland and an ITF national and international medalist who will be representing India in the upcoming ITF Asian Championship.

The seminar was attended by 21 participants, including Aito Sumi, ITF national gold medalist and recipient of the Governor Award in sports; Kampei Konyak, ITF national gold medalist and member of the All Nagaland Kick Boxing Council; Kulungshi Newmai, Naga Olympics wushu medalist; and Kekhriesino Kevichüsa, ITF state gold medalist.

“This seminar was a testament to the growing interest and dedication towards Taekwon-Do in our region. It provided a valuable opportunity for practitioners to enhance their skills and knowledge under the guidance of an experienced master,” it stated.
