Nagaland: J Alam to hold charge of chief secretary

Kohima, Feb. 1(EMN): The government of Nagaland has given J Alam, additional chief secretary to Chief Minister and Development Commissioner, to hold the charge of chief secretary with immediate effect on February 1.

The notification was issued after the demise of Temjen Toy, Nagaland’s chief secretary on January 28 in Kohima.

“In the interest of the public service, Shri. J Alam, IAS (NL:1991), Addl. Chief Secretary to CM and Development Commissioner will hold the charge of Chief Secretary, Nagaland with immediate effect,” read the order on Monday.
