Karbi Anglong CEM issues show cause notice to 7 officers

Diphu, Aug. 23 (EMN): A show cause notice has been served to seven officers of various departments under the jurisdiction of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) following absence from a review meeting convened by Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Chief Executive Member (CEM) Tuliram Ronghang, concerning revenue collection of every department held at Arboretum cum Craft Centre on Aug. 20.

The CEM has been ordered to provide their explanation and reason for absence within a week.

A source from the KAAC Secretariat said that a show cause notice has been served to seven officers who have been asked to explain the reason for their absence within seven days.

The officers are; Superintending Engineer, Irrigation, Prabitra Engti; District Agriculture Officer (DAO), Bidu Raijung; Superintendent of Sericulture, Rongbong Rongphar; Deputy Director, Town & Country Planning, Reuben Ronghang; Deputy Director, Food & Civil Supplies and Consumer’s Affairs, Promod Shyam; Additional Chief Engineer, PWD, Diphu, Parag Kr. Barman and Executive Engineer, PWD, Biswajit Shome.
