The launching ceremony was held at Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Chief Executive Member’s bungalow. President of the club, Sengkan Ronghang, along with senior player and coach, Waisong Bey and members Badan Tisso and Semson Terang launched the jersey.
The senior player and coach, Waisong Bey said, “We are very happy we have launched a new jersey for our club. With the launch of the new jersey brings a new spirit and zeal to the game. We will be participating in the Greenfield Football League here at Diphu being organised by Greenfield Soccer Group.”
He also said the KAMSFC is a professional club and there is no question of local players or players from outside.
“Anyone who can play professional football and for them, we give them a chance to play in our club,” Bey said, adding that having both local and outside players can give better performance for the club.
He said the Club has already set up academies at various places in both Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong. The club is trying to develop the academies already set-up to train young players from the grassroots.
The club also has its own infrastructure at 7th Mile, Diphu-Manja Road. Once the field comes up, proper training can be given to players, Bey said.
