Karbi Anglong police recovers arms and ammunitions from Dhansiri Reserved Forest

Diphu, Oct. 21 (EMN): The Karbi Anglong police on Friday recovered arms and ammunitions during a search operation from Dhansiri Reserved Forest in Diphu.
Briefing media persons at Diphu police station on Friday night, the Superintendent of Police (SP), Sanjib Kr. Saikia said that as per information from the Diphu police station regarding a hideout of arms and ammunitions, a search operation was conducted at the forest and recovered two numbers of grenade, Ak 47- 69 live ammunition with a Magazine, three numbers of Pistol Magazine, SLR-12 live ammunition and a detonator under the earth.
SP Saikia said that the newly floated Dimasa National Liberation Tiger (DNLT) are the prime suspects.
