KBC Jubilee Trophy: CKC to clash with Meriema BC in final

Kohima, Nov. 3 (EMN): Christ King Church (CKC) and Meriema BC on Thursday won their respective semi-final matches to book seal their final berths in the ongoing Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) Jubilee Trophy at Meriema Ground in Kohima.

In the first semi final match, Christ King Church outplayed Tsiesema Basa BC 3-2.

CKC’s Kevizenyii Simon scored a brace and Mhasibeituo scored another goal. Keviselie Khrabvii also scored a brace for Tsiesema BC Basa.

In the second semi-final match, Meriema BC outgunned Chiechama BC 4-2.

Meriema’s Thinuovinyii Miachieo, Ruokuosalie Yoatsu, Khriengulie Üsou and Luolazotuo Yaotsu scored a goal each to decide the fate of winning game. For the Chiechama side, Thepfiikhrietuo Riipreo and Vilazolie Rio scored a goal each.

Meanwhile, there will be an exhibition match between Koinonia Men’s FC and Jubilee trophy organisers on November 4 at 1 pm.

The final match between Christ King Church and Meriema BC is slated on November 5.
