KBC Jubilee Trophy: Koinonia B, CRC Pezielietsie, Chiechama BC win

Kohima, Oct 25 (EMN): Koinonia B, CRC Pezielietsie and Chiechama BC on Wednesday won their respective matches at the ongoing Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) Jubilee Trophy at Meriema Ground in Kohima.

In the first match of the day, Koinonia Team A locked horns with Koinonia Team B; the latter outplayed the former 4-1. For the winning team, Akho Hibo scored two goals while Lingtsuba and Mongtsoa Lam added a goal each.

With the win, Koinonia Team B will play against Meriema BC on October 31.

Meanwhile, in the second match of the day, CRC Pezielietsie beat CR Mission Church with a solitary goal made by Thenuokhrielie. The team will now take on Chiechama BC on October 31.

In the third match, Chiechama BC routed Tsiesema Bawe BC 3-0, contributed by Kevilekho Riipreo, Thepfukhrietuo Riipreo and Keneibulie Riipreo.

Thursday (October 27)

• First match: Christ King Church vs CRC Viswema at 11 am
• Second match: Mezoma BC vs Rengma BC at 1 pm.
