Livingstone Foundation International School organises winter carnival
DIMAPUR — With an objective to promote entrepreneurship among the students, Livingstone Foundation International School (LFIS) organised a one-day winter carnival at the school campus on Tuesday.
The school chairman, Dr. Andrew Ahoto Sema, informed that apart from organising various events, the school decided to organise a carnival instead of its annual school fete day. He informed that out of the total 20 stalls; about 80% of the stalls were set up by the students.
He added that the proceeds from the stalls would go to the respective students with the aim of inculcating entrepreneurship. The activities at the carnival included stalls, play toys for children, a stage for students to showcase their singing talents and others.
He also mentioned that many schools in Dimapur have participated in the carnival. He reiterated that Livingstone School does not look only at the aspect of theoretical knowledge but also at the overall development of students.
