Mangkolemba church donates INR 1.5 lakh to CHC

Dimapur, June 7 (EMN): Mangkolemba Town Baptist Church donated INR 1, 50,000 to Mangkolemba Community Health Centre (CHC) on Monday.

Medical officer of Community Health Centre in Mangkolemba, Dr. Jetilo Magh informed that Rev. Mar Longkumer of Mangkolemba Town Baptist Church along with few church members handed over the amount to the CHC.

Magh informed that the money would be used for the construction of CHC staff quarantine rooms, washroom and a kitchen. He added that they would convert the conference hall of CHC to quarantine rooms for the staff of CHC as they do not have any place to quarantine, if any of the members are tested positive.

The medical officer added that kitchen and washroom will be constructed attached to the conference hall so that even after the pandemic is over it can be used.

He also thanked the Mangkolemba Town Baptist Church for the donation and added that when everyone comes together and help each another in these difficult times, it encourages the frontline workers and also boosts their morale to work for the people.
