Manipur Chief Minister tests positive for Covid-19

Imphal, Nov. 15 (EMN): Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Singh has tested positive for Covid-19.

In a Twitter update on Sunday, Singh wrote: “I have tested positive for Covid-19. I request all those who came in close contact with me recently, to self isolate and get tested.”

Union Home minister Amit Shah and Chief Ministers BS Yediyurappa (Karnataka), ML Khattar (Haryana), Shivraj Singh Chouhan (Madhya Pradesh), Pema Khandu (Arunachal Pradesh) and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia (Delhi) are among those who tested positive for Covid in the last few months, and have recovered.
