Manipur polls: Colour coded T-shirts launched

Imphal, Feb. 14 (EMN): Th Kirankumar,District Election Officer (DEO) of Imphal West district launched colour coded T-shirts for the 13 Assembly Constituencies of Imphal West in the presence of General Observers, Expenditure Observer and Returning Officers (RO) at the Gandhi Memorial Hall in Imphal on Monday.

The launch was part of a joint interaction between the DEO, Observers, ROs, candidates and their election agents of Imphal West district to discuss various agenda related to the assembly election.

Additional DM, Ng Jogendra said the colour coded T-shirts will be used during the implementation of the Silent Dispersal System, which will be used for the first time during transportation of polling personnel on polling day.

T-shirts and vehicles with specific colour codes for each Assembly Constituency will be utilised for better communication and co-ordination during the dispersal of polling personnel.
