Mhathung Yanthan inaugurates Pangti village community building

Wokha, Sep. 30 (EMN): Advisor of Horticulture and Border Affairs, Mhathung Yanthan, on Friday urged the people of Pangti village, dubbed as Amur Falcon capital of the world, to tap its rich natural resources, adding that the Doyang dam also could help propel the economic status of the people.
Speaking at the inaugural programme of the Pangti village community building, he lauded the people involved in construction of the facility for the timely completion.
He further called upon the congregation to do away with political differences and to come together and work closely with any elected legislator.
Delivering the welcome address, chairman of Pangti Village Council, N Rakomo Jami, appreciated Mhathung Yanthan for his desire to bring development to the village, especially the new community building, which was constructed in just six month.
Earlier, Yanthan unveiled the community hall plaque, while Rev. N Manglio Ngullie, pastor of Pangti Baptist Church, said the dedication prayer.
