MoS attends ‘Mann ki Baat’ telecast in Dimapur, lauds Nagas
DIMAPUR — Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development and Ayush, Dr. Mahendra Munjpara, who is in Nagaland, attended the live telecast of PM Narendra Modi’s 109th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Lions’ Club, Dimapur, along with Nagaland state BJP officials and karyakartas.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the official BJP Nagaland handle reported that, while addressing the karyakartas on the occasion, Munjpara highlighted that for PM Modi, the upliftment of women and children holds significant importance.
He expressed his happiness with his tour of Phek district, saying Nagas are blessed with vibrancy and intelligence, and he appreciated the various talents he saw during his visit to the district, which also included a visit to an Ayush centre in an interior village that was barely accessible by road.
He lauded the resilience of the people and thanked them for the warm hospitality accorded to him.
Basu Damani, BJP Nagaland state vice president and Lions Club of Dimapur president, Pintu M Ghosh, state spokesperson and Mann Ki Baat committee convenor, and Phek district BJP president were among those in attendance.
