MPCDSR, RMNCAH+N review meeting held in Kohima
DIMAPUR — The office of the chief medical officer (CMO) along with District Health Society, Kohima, department of Health and Family Welfare (NHM) held a district review meeting on Maternal Paternal Child Death Surveillance and Response (MPCDSR) and Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH+N) at CMO’s conference hall on August 1.
Delivering the opening remarks and welcome address, CMO of Kohima, Dr. Leamnyei Konyak, informed everyone present in the programme to be accountable while carrying out their responsibilities, an update stated.
Resource person Dr. Longri Kichu from UNICEF held a discussion hour with the participants on Maternal Paternal Child Death Surveillance and Response (MPCDSR).
DPO (RMNCAH+N), Dr. Khrievilhou Nakhro, gave a presentation on key performance indicators under ROP-NHM, key activities under adolescent health, key activities under child health – SBA, JSY and JSSK components.
DPM Avikali Jakhalu highlighted on HMIS, RCH Portal and ANMOL, Anemia Must Bharat, key activities under family planning.
Dr. Imnanoktsung Longchari, DPM (QA), also gave presentation on SUMAN, Laqshya and Musqan, HRP tracking and ePMSMA, while Dr. Katila, MO (RBSK), also highlighted on key activities under RBSK and the DCM spoke on VHSND review and community participation.
The deputy CMO, Dr. Imchatoshi, thanked the participants for rendering their service in their own capacities.
