MrBeast hits 100 million subscribers on YouTube
Popular YouTube creator, MrBeast, on Thursday became the second person in the world to hit the 100 million subscribers milestone on the platform.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, held a special livestream on July 28 to countdown the final few subscribers with his fans. On his livestream, the 24-year-old said, “I appreciate every single one of you that watches the videos. This is literally all I’ve ever done with my life.”
“All I do is wake up every day and obsess over how to make the best videos possible. It’s all I care about. It’s the only thing that’s ever really made me happy,” he added.
After hitting the milestone, he took to Twitter to thank his fanbase for supporting him over the years.
“Over a million people celebrated 100,000,000 subscribers with me,” he wrote. “YouTube is the one thing that’s always made me happy and I’m grateful I get to do this all day everyday.”

MrBeast also promised his fans that he will still continue to make the best possible content. “No matter how big I get I’ll never own a mansion, yacht, Lamborghini etc. All I want is to make the best videos possible and help as many people as I can while doing it,” wrote MrBeast.
The milestone makes MrBeast the second individual after Sweden’s PewDiePie to have more than 100 million subscribers on the platform. He is also the fifth YouTube channel to achieve the impressive feat.
To celebrate this remarkable achievement, MrBeast is launching new merch and has confirmed that he will be releasing one of his most expensive videos to date on August 4.
