Nagaland: District football associations on selection trial for upcoming Dr. T Ao trophy

Dimapur, March 19 (EMN): Selection trials for the upcoming 22nd Dr. T Ao inter-district tournament will be conducted by the various district football associations.

Mokokchung District Football Association (MDFA) is hosting the tournament, which will commence on April 19.

PDFA: Peren District Football Association (PDFA) will be conducting its trials for the trophy at astro turf ground, Jalukie town, 12 pm on March 25.

A notification from the PDFA informed all the players to bring their identity card (preferably Aadhaar card) for registration on arrival.

Selected players will undergo preparatory training from April 4th to the 17th.

WDFA: Wokha District Football Association (WDFA) will be conducting trials for the upcoming trophy at local ground, Wokha on April 1 to 2.

Meanwhile, Football Association Phek District (FAPD) held its selection trial for the upcoming Dr. T Ao inter-district trophy at Pfutsero local ground on Saturday, according to an update.  A total of 46 participants including 16 players from U-21 took part in the trial.
