Nagaland Governor, Chief Minister extend Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah greetings to Khiamniungan community
Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday extended Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah festive greetings to Khiamniungan community and the people of the state.
In his greetings, the governor said the Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah festival advocates peaceful co-existence, friendship and reconciliation.
“It is a time of thanksgiving for the year’s harvest. This vibrant festival also provides a platform for the youngsters to learn the rich and unique cultural values of the Khiamniungans. On this auspicious occasion, I wish you all happiness, good health and a prosperous life,” read the message.
Rio also took to Twitter to convey festive greetings to the Khiamniungan community.
“Happy Khaozaosie-Hok-Ah to our brothers and sisters from the Khiamniungan community. May the essence of the festival which is reconciliation, peaceful co-existence and friendship strengthen bonds. Best wishes for a happy and a safe celebration,” he wrote.
