DC Kohima issues requisition order

DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, has issued an order informing the general public that the Indira Gandhi Stadium (Hockey ground) has been requisitioned for parking vehicles in connection with the conduct of elections to urban local bodies (ULBs) from June 22 till the completion of the election process. According to a DIPR report, the order also stated that no activities or allotment of the aforementioned area shall be entertained during the notified period.

DC Kiphire notifies on ULB election meeting

DIMAPUR — The office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, has informed that, in partial modification of the office circular dated May 22, the proposed meeting for the upcoming ULB elections has been moved to May 30. The other text of the circular will remain unchanged, an official bulletin stated.

Alumni day at SFS School Tening on June 8

IHRC Kohima Board meets with SP Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Kohima District Board of the International Human Rights Council (IHRC) convened a meeting with the Superintendent of Police (SP) for Kohima, led by its president and general secretary. According to a press release, the meeting focused on discussing various strategies and measures to enhance the protection of human rights within the district. Both parties emphasised the significance of collaboration and proactive measures to ensure the safety and dignity of all individuals in Kohima. SP Kohima also extended congratulations to the newly appointed members of the Kohima District Board.
