NGBF congratulates Hokato Hotozhe Sema
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Gaonbura Federation (NGBF) congratulated Hokato Hotozhe Sema for making history by winning the bronze medal in the F57 Shot Put event at the Paris Paralympics 2024. In a message, the NGBF also extended congratulations to the government of Nagaland and expressed gratitude towards the government of India. The federation expressed hope that the concerned authorities will ensure Hokato’s welfare, which he fully deserves. It further noted that Hokato’s achievement serves as an inspiration for young athletes across the country to pursue their dreams of winning medals in international competitions. The federation wished Hokato a bright future and encouraged him to continue inspiring younger generations.
Tsütuonuomia Khel to hold annual social work
DIMAPUR — The Tsütuonuomia Khel, Kohima village, is set to organise its annual social work-cum-get-together on September 14. According to the update, the social work will commence at 7 am and will culminate at T Khel Rüzie for lunch and other activities at 2 pm. Kohima DPDB meeting on September 17
DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Kohima Kumar Ramnikant has, in a circular, informed that the monthly meeting of the District Planning and Development Board (DPDB), Kohima, will be held on September 17 at 11 am at the DPDB conference hall, Kohima. All the board members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
Tseminyu DPDB meeting on September 13
DIMAPUR — The monthly meeting of the Tseminyu District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) will be held on September 13 at 12 noon at the DC conference hall. District planning officer and member secretary of DPDB Tseminyu, Meyikokba Jamir, has informed all the concerned members to attend the meeting, a DIPR report stated.
NSCN (IM) recovers motorcycle
DIMAPUR — The Union Territory (UT) of NSCN (IM) has recovered a Yamaha FZ-S motorcycle bearing chassis number MEIRG6693M0009516 and engine number G3NSE0132960. In an update, the UT NSCN (IM) informed the rightful owner to contact 6909708962 (mobile) and claim the bike by producing original documents within seven days.
GPRN/NSCN mourns passing of Tatar
DIMAPUR — N Kitovi Zhimomi-led GPRN/NSCN mourned the untimely passing of Thungchamo Mozhui, Tatar (UT), son of late Wopanso Mozhui from Longtsung Village, Wokha district, on September 8 near Doyang. In an update, the GPRN/NSCN expressed deep gratitude for his dedicated service and sacrifices made while serving in the Lotha Region. The GPRN/NSCN also extended its deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased, noting that the void created by his passing will be deeply felt and difficult to fill.
