Wokha business community to carry out random ILP checking
DIMAPUR — The Wokha District Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WDCCI) has informed all non-indigenous persons involved in any business activities within Wokha district to obtain valid Inner Line Permit (ILP) from the concerned authority. It said that it will not encourage non-indigenous individuals or group to carry out business activities in the district without proper valid ILP and that random checking will be carried. It also urged the landlords to verify and obtain requisite documents from the non-indigenous inhabitants before they rent out their properties.
TSUD informs subordinate bodies
The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur (TSUD) has convened a meeting of all its subordinate bodies within Dimapur, Niuland and Chümoukedima districts on June 3 at 3 pm at Tenyimi Complex Dimapur. The union in an update informed presidents and general secretaries of respective Tenyimi unions of colleges and universities to positively attend the meeting. It also informed Tenyimi students of colleges and universities which do not have Tenyimi bodies to send two representatives each. The office bearers and representatives have been requested to come with “one traditional touch.”
NPCC president appoints district heads
Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) President has appointed members to various posts for effective and smooth functioning of the party. According to an update from NPCC, the members and their respective assignments include Ketseiyie Mere (President Kohima DCC), Khuishe (Working President, Kohima DCC), Chotsase Sangtam (President Tuensang DCC), Likyuse Sangtam (President Kiphire DCC) and Atsuba (Working President Tuensang DCC).
