Nagaland: PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi programme held at Longleng

Dimapur, Sep. 12 (EMN): State Bank of India, Longleng branch, along with SBI bank officials from Jorhat, FI RBO Mokokchung, district administration, Longleng, and department of RD conducted a first special credit outreach programme on PM–Kisan Samman Nidhi on September 10 at Bhumnyu village under Longleng district.

A DIPR report stated that the DGM, SBI Jorhat, Jitendra Kant Thakur, gave a brief highlight on PM-Kisan loan.

SDO(C), Trongdipa Tongpi Sangtam, urged the genuine beneficiaries to avail the loans but also to repay the loan along with interest on time to avoid distrust between the beneficiaries and the bank.

He also requested educated youths and council members to help the beneficiaries in filling up the forms to avail loans.

The programme was attended by government officials and beneficiaries of Bhumnyu village.  The outreach programme will be conducted in other villages under Longleng district till September 29, it stated.
