Nagaland records 117 new Covid-19 cases, 12 deaths; tally rises to 21680

Dimapur, May 31 (EMN):
Nagaland recorded 117 new Covid-19 positive cases on Monday, taking the state’s tally to 21,680.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that out of the 117 new cases detected in the last 24 hours, 47 were in Kohima, 33 in Dimapur, nine in Mokokchung, seven each in Wokha and Zunheboto, six in Mon, five in Kiphire and one each in Longleng, Phek and Tuensang.

He added that as many as 215 positive patients – 128 in Dimapur, 36 in Kohima, 12 in Zunheboto, 11 each in Longleng and Phek, nine in Mon, three each in Kiphire and  Mokokchung, and two in Peren — recovered during the same period.

The state currently has 4934 active Covid-19 cases, 15738 recoveries and 363 deaths, out which 12 were reported in the last 24 hours.
