Nagaland records 14 new COVID-19 cases, no fresh deaths

Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): The number of COVID-19 active cases in Nagaland increased to 61 with 14 fresh infections detected on Thursday, while the death toll remained unchanged at 759 with one fresh fatality reported.
According to the update from the department of Health and Family Welfare, six fresh cases were reported in Dimapur, five in Kohima, two in Longleng and one in Zunheboto in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the state to 35,592.
Four recoveries — two in Longleng and one each in Mokokchung and Peren, were registered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 33,271.
Out of the 61 active cases, 41 are asymptomatic, 17 mild, one moderate on oxygen, and two in ICU on ventilator.
In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 28 cases, Kohima 21, six in Peren, four in Mokokchung, and one each in Longleng and Zunheboto.
