Dimapur, Aug. 1 (EMN): The number of active COVID-19 cases in Nagaland has increased to 87 with 15 fresh infections detected on Monday and the state’s death toll rose to 766 following one more fatality.
An update from the Health department informed that three cases were detected in Wokha, two each in Dimapur, Kohima, Longleng, Mokokchung and Mon, and one each in Kiphire and Zunheboto during the same period.
Meanwhile, the total number recoveries increased to 33,432 following recuperation of four patients in Kohima, two in Mon, and one each in Dimapur and Mokokchung.
Out of the 87 active cases in the state, 39 are asymptomatic, 45 mild, and three severe on oxygen.
