National Integration Tour team interacts with West Bengal Governor
DIMAPUR — The national integration tour (NIT), organised by the Indian Army and comprising 20 students of Loyola Higher Secondary School, Zakhama, on December 15, interacted with the Governor of West Bengal, Dr. CV Ananda Bose, at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata.
According to an update, during the visit, Bose appreciated the spirit and ideology of the Indian Army as well as the dedication with which it is uplifting and bettering the populace in remote regions.
Speaking to the tour team, he expressed his confidence in the young minds, saying they represent India’s future and will push the country to new heights. He also encouraged them to share their tour experiences with other students once they returned to their school.
The NIT, which was flagged off from Rangapahar Military Station, Dimapur, by General Office Commanding (GOC) of 3 Corps, is being conducted under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’.
It commenced on December 13 and will conclude on December 22.
