NavSahyog foundation celebrates I-Day in Dhansiripar sub-division
DIMAPUR — The NavSahyog Foundation, a Bangalore-based non- profit organisation dedicated to nurturing life skills and creativity among rural children aged 5-14, celebrated Independence Day across its operational regions.
Focusing on developing foundational skills through sports, storytelling, creative activities and experiential learning, the foundation reached out to over 9,000 children daily in 300 villages throughout Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Nagaland, an update from the foundation stated.
In Seluophe village under Chümoukedima district, the celebration was held at the government school, wherein the children participated energetically in dance, quiz and drawing competitions.
The NavSahyog Foundation team including field coordinator, Lozua Kape; area facilitator, Roshan; and village coordinator ensured a successful event.
At Amaluma vilage, the celebrations were held at the community hall, which was attended by the village chairman, John Jidung; village GB, Rubinon Naben; and school headmaster, Ditush Naben.
During the event, the children showcased their talents through solo and group dances and delivered patriotic speeches.
The NavSahyog team was represented by Lozua Kape; area facilitator, Dilon; and village coordinators namely Rabina and Reshmodi.
In Hasadisa village, the celebration was held at community hall in the presence of village chairman, Ranesh Langthasa; NavSahyog team including Diloni and village coordinator, Kobita.
The children performed group dances and delivered patriotic speeches, with the event supported by NavSahyog team member, Area Facilitator Diloni, and Village Coordinator Kobita.
Similar celebrations were conducted in various other villages including Urra, Singrijan, Disagaphu, Doyapur, Ganeshnagar and Lokheto.
