NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II AC gets new residential office
DIMAPUR — A new office of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) of 5 Ghaspani-II Assembly Constituency was inaugurated on Wednesday at the private residence of Zhaleo Rio, advisor of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, in Sovima.
In his introductory speech, Zhaleo stated that the new office was constructed within a stipulated time and expressed satisfaction that the party has been allotted a separate residential office. He also advised the party officials to judiciously strive for unity among themselves in order to unite other members, stated an update from the party.
On the upcoming Lok Sabha election, Rio appealed the leaders to work together cohesively and deter gaps and loopholes, thereby gaining ground methodically. Citing that negative mindsets create misunderstanding and divisions, he asserted that “there should never be rooms for ‘ism’ among people if we desire for peace, prosperity and development.”
The function was chaired by Semato Zhimomi, general secretary of NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II AC, while Nini Sekhose, assistant pastor of Garden Mission Church, Sovima, pronounced the dedicatory prayer and inaugurated the complex.
Pelevituo Kuotsu, personal secretary to the advisor, delivered the welcome address and Neingutuo Rio, personal assistant to the advisor, presented a song.
Speeches were also delivered by Khekiho Ayemi, president of NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II AC; Khetoli Zhimomi, president of women organisation, and Seyieselie Kuotsu, president of youth organisation among others.
The programme was followed with a coordination meeting of the party officials.
