DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) and the Naga People’s Front (NPF) have condoled the death of former minister TA Ngullie who passed away of October 27.
In a condolence message on behalf of the NDPP, the party president Chingwang Konyak said that he had the opportunity to be closely associated with late Ngullie since the first Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA).
Konyak said Ngullie’s visionary leadership extended beyond state politics, a valuable legacy he left behind.
“His significant contributions as a gentle, dedicated leader and a pioneer leave an indelible mark in the history and progress of the state,” it stated.
In a separate condolence message, NPF president Apong Pongener said that throughout his distinguished career, late Ngullie committed himself unwaveringly to the service of the people and the development of Nagaland. “His impactful contributions to the socio-political landscape of the state have left an enduring legacy that will inspire generations.
“Ngullie was a visionary leader for the Naga people, whose commitment and dedication have earned him the deepest respect. His departure leaves an irreplaceable void, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him,” the condolence message read.
