Neiketuno Sechü is Miss Nagaland 2023
KOHIMA — Nineteen-year-old Neiketuno Sechü was crowned Miss Nagaland 2023 during a glittering grand finale at the Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima on Friday.
Vimgha Sheqi was declared the first runner-up and Ilihika Aye won the second runner-up title.
The newly crowned Miss Nagaland walked home with INR 1 lakh in cash as well as gift hampers worth INR 1.26 lakh. The hampers were sponsored by Atomy India.
Sechü, who also won the Miss Perfect Ten subtitle, now gains direct entry to the Miss North East and Miss Grand India 2024 pageants.
The first runner-up, Sheqi (20) received INR 70000 and won Miss Multimedia while second runner-up Aye (19) went home with the Miss Photogenic subtitle and INR 50000. They both received gift hampers worth INR 10000 each.
Other subtitle winners included Keziah Mero (Miss Beautiful Skin), Tsiawavi Nyuwi (Miss Beautiful Smile), Flora Kent (Miss Talent), and Katienla P Longchar (Queen of Hearts). All the subtitle winners received INR 10,000 each.
A total of 14 semi-finalists competed for the coveted title in the annual pageant organised by the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN).
The judges for the pageant were Amjad Ali Khan Pathan, director NE Glamanand Supermodel India; Nunui Rualhleng, fbb Femina Miss India, Mizoram; Imlibenla Wati Neinu, Miss Nagaland 2012, Miss India Elite runner up 2015, Miss Super Talent World season 7 runner up; and Tokatoli Sohe, Miss Nagaland 1998.
The title sponsor for this year’s edition was Antodya Skills Foundation.
