NPF Kohima affirms support to party leadership

DIMAPUR — The Kohima division of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has unanimously resolved to uphold the leadership of its party president, Apong Pongener, and the Leader of NPF Legislature Party, Kuzholuzo Nienu.

The resolution to this effect was taken during the consultative meeting of its executive body held on Wednesday at the NPF central office in Kohima. The division also resolved to extend its fullest support to the party leadership in its decision and wisdom for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.

Besides, the division resolved to actively start gearing up for the upcoming municipal election and decided to field candidates to the Kohima Municipal Council as many as it could.

Meanwhile, the division lamented the central government’s decision to scrap the Free Movement Regime (FMR) and urged upon the Government of India to hear the cry of the people and immediately revoke its decision.

The division further reaffirmed to remain loyal towards the party and pro-actively works for the interest and welfare of the people.
