DIMAPUR — The seven-day advance course training for scout masters and guide captains from five districts (Dimapur, Kohima, Kiphire, Zunheboto, and Wokha), which commenced on September 22, concluded on Thursday.
The training was underway at the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) State Training Centre, Nerhema, Kohima.
According to a press release, state commissioner (Rovers) Kuoliebeizo Mepfhuo, who was the camp fire chief at the grand campfire, said that as advance scouts and guides, they should think of new ideas to elevate the status of scouts and guides in their respective districts.
The training qualified 18 scouts and guides in total.
Albert Solo, course leader (scout wing), and Keneingunuo Solo, course leader (guide wing), gave course reports, and Tsipise Antony for the scout wing and Chubhalo Kikon for the guide wing delivered camp impressions.
The trainees performed drama, modern songs, and folk songs during the event.
