DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Wrestling Association’s (NWA) new team of office bearers for the term 2024-2028, led by president Vivolie Kezo, took over the office on Saturday during a handover ceremony at the office of the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) in Kohima.
According to a press statement, speaking on the occasion, incoming president Kezo sought cooperation from all to carry forward the dreams and aspirations of the association, while outgoing president Dr. Hiabe Zeliang extended his best wishes to the new team and wished it a successful tenure.
Outgoing NWA advisor Neivikuolie Khatsü, in his brief remarks, informed the assembly that eight wrestlers from the state, along with two officiating referees and two officials, are all set to participate in the BRICS Games scheduled to be held in Russia during the latter part of this month. He sought moral support and cooperation from the wrestling fraternity.
The new team includes president Vivolie Kezo, vice presidents Viketouzo Meyase and Mitwatei Hebwang, general secretary Kenlum Hemang, joint secretary Kuzhovesa Soho, treasurer Keneilel Rote, technical secretary Vekhriyi Chüzho, property secretary Rangsilang, publicity & information secretary Er. Seyielhouvi Nagi, women coordinators Icetdaile Haikube, Vesavolu Rhakho, and Mezhiesino Keyho, along with advisors Dr. Hiabe Zeliang, Lhuobeizo Kesiyie, and Vekhozo Ringa.
