DIMAPUR — A one-day orientation programme on the sub-theme ‘Ease of Schooling’ was held on Monday at EBRC training hall, Tseminyu, which focused on access to individual beneficiary schemes and ensuring quality of service delivery to schools.
The programme was held in view of the third chief secretaries’ conference proposed to be held in October or November on the theme ‘Promoting ease of living through good governance and use of technology,’ an update stated.
Delivering the keynote address in the inaugural programme, SDO (Civil) Tseminyu, Kemciyile, remarked that the orientation on the sub-theme ‘Ease of Schooling’ seeks inputs and suggestions from block level officers, school heads and representatives of Parent Teacher Association and related departments, for the assemblage of these inputs into ‘Feedback/concept note.’
The SDO said the ease of living in the context of schooling is for “creating a supportive learning environment, safe, inclusive and welcoming atmosphere, providing students with the required resources and support systems to cater the needs of the students.”
The orientation programme was chaired by Chegeseng Kath, JEO. Altogether 35 participants attended the programme.
Chegeseng Kath, AHM/JEO, moderated the business session on ease of marksheet, transfer and migration certificates, Aadhaar registration of students, quality of infrastructure in schools, schemes and services delivery, improving learning outcomes in schools, good practices of schools and issues and challenges.
