Petroleum dealers support indefinite shutter down in Dimapur area
DIMAPUR — The Petroleum Dealers’ Association of Dimapur, Niuland and Chümoukedima (PDADNC) has extended its support to the call made by the Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) for indefinite shutter down in and around Dimapur to protest the unabated multiple taxation, intimidation and summoning of traders by various Naga political groups (NPGs).
It also requested all the NGOs and business communities to support the DCCI in their commitment to promote healthy competition.
The association also informed that petroleum companies constantly check and monitor the density, quality and quantity online since the automation of gas retail outlets. It added that malpractice is not possible as machines will be automatically locked if there are any variations in these levels.
It also appealed to all the newly commissioned retail outlets and those unregistered, within its jurisdiction, to join the association for better coordination.
