DIMAPUR— Pfutsero Government College PGC), Pfutsero, held its 39th Freshers’ Day on August 5 at the college auditorium on the theme ‘Gaining the edge.’
Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) of Pfutsero, C Phuniang, the guest speaker of the event, shared his life experiences and exhorted the students on the importance of perseverance to achieve success in life.
Phuniang also exhorted that it is always better to start early to the edge over other competitors, an update stated.
Vice principal of PGC, Neichupe Kapfo, also exhorted the freshers.
Chiezou Mero of English department was crowned Miss Fresher 2023 and Duti Sara of Education department won the Mr. Fresher 2023 title. The programme was chaired by Botoli Wazah and PGCSU finance secretary, Tepre-u Kreo, delivered the vote of thanks.
