Pfutsero NDPP reaffirms support to party leadership

DIMAPUR — The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) under 16 Pfutsero Assembly Constituency has reaffirmed its absolute faith and confidence on the leadership of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio, and the NDPP president, Chingwang Konyak.

The reaffirmation was made during a meeting of all its office bearers including the parent body, town and village units held on November 19 at the private residence of former minister, Neiba Kronu, in Pfutsero town which was attended by more than 300 delegates.

An update from the party stated thatK Puro, senior vice president (central); Kedoutsolhi Wetsah, secretary (central); Atsole Kreo, general secretary (CWO) and Neikhrolo Khalo, president of NDPP, Phek region, addressed and exhorted the gathering to work wholeheartedly and take the party to greater heights.

It added that Dingulo Khutsoh, president of 16 NDPP Pfutsero AC, on behalf of the party, has appreciated the selfless work of Neikhrolo Khalo for his good and able leadership in guiding the NDPP Phek region.

In a spontaneous gesture, the gathering expressed appreciation to Neiba Kronu for bringing unprecedented development in the area. The house also acknowledged his concern for party men which has tremendously boosted their morale.

The meeting culminated with a unanimous resolution to support Neiba Kronu and strengthen his hands in all future endeavours.
