Dimapur, March 9 (EMN): With a vision to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds, Pilgrim Higher Secondary School inaugurated a ‘Atal Tinkering Lab’ in the school premises on March 9.
The laboratory was inaugurated by the school’s principal, Kaini Khekho Kikon, in the presence of parents, students and well wishers.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the principal emphasised on working with young minds to give shape to their ideas through hands-on, do-it-yourself mode, and innovative skills.
An initiative of the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), government of India, Atal contains educational and learning kits and equipment on science, electronics, robotics, open source micro controller boards, sensor and 3D printers and computer, an update from the school stated on Tuesday.
