Dimapur, June 15 (EMN): Pro Rural, a humanitarian NGO in Dimapur, has reached out to thousands of daily wagers and migrant labourers in and around Dimapur city with dry ration including rice, lintels, cooking oil, salt, food for infants and aged people and sanitation kits, who are hard hit by the lockdown following the second wave of Covid-19.
AN update from the organisation stated that the relief programme has covered over 600 needy families from 28 villages or colonies. It added that the village councils, VDBs and village youth have helped identify as well as assisted in the distribution of the relief in their respective localities.
Report also stated that the organisation had extended relief items to some Covid positive patients at the Covid Care Centre located at New DC Complex, Chümoukedima.
