DIMAPUR — In a first of its kind, the Jesus Youth (JY) of Don Bosco College, Kohima, in collaboration with Jesus Youth Nagaland Pro-Life Ministry, organised a prolife exhibition for the students of Don Bosco College, Kohima, and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Kohima, on September 22 on the theme “Culture of life.”
An update from the college stated that its principal, Fr. Dr. P Suresh, invoked God’s blessing and inaugurated the exhibition, while a brief introduction to the exhibition was delivered by Emiro James Shitiri, coordinator of JY Nagaland Prolife Ministry.
The exhibition consisted of significant display of pictures and models that showcased the stages of life from conception till death, while various other displays included sacredness of life, evil of abortion and anti-life cultures.
Report stated that the exhibition was initiated to educate, encourage and spread awareness among the youth about those serious issues prevalent in the society.
In the feedback, students shared that they have learned something new about gift and importance of life. Zevisanuo Martina Khate, coordinator of JY Nagaland, said the concluding prayer.
More than 1000 students along with teachers participated in the exhibition.
