Samsung launches ‘iTest’ website that lets iPhone users try out Galaxy devices
Dimapur, April 9 (EMN): In a surprising but creative move, South Korean tech giant Samsung has launched a new website called iTest that lets iPhone users try out Samsung’s Galaxy devices.
Once an Apple iPhone user visits the iTest website, they are prompted to install a web app via scanning a QR code. The web app opens a simulated Galaxy device home screen complete with apps, settings and themes. Users can also change the theme of their simulated android device and will be able to browse the Galaxy Store. Users can also get simulated calls and messages along with tutorials explaining themes, camera, Galaxy centric apps and more.

This may be an innovative attempt by Samsung to draw iPhone users to the ‘other side’.
“You’re about to get a little taste of Samsung, without changing phones. We can’t replicate every function, but you should quickly see that there’s nothing daunting about switching to the other side,” AppleInsider quoted the company as saying.
The web app has been developed by Samsung New Zealand and it is unclear if it will be promoted in other countries. For curious iPhone users who want to ‘sample the other side,’ you can do it here.
