DIMAPUR — A seminar on “Road Safety and Rules” was held on February 16 at the auditorium of MGM College, Dimapur, with Ngimchule Nampeung, ACP Traffic, Dimapur, in attendance.
Nampeung, speaking at the event, emphasised the importance of being aware of traffic rules, penalties, and road safety. She emphasised the gravity of the country’s traffic situation by citing research-based data, according to a press release.
Interacting with the students, she spoke about vehicle modifications, passenger rules, speed radar counts and the proper age to apply for a licence, as well as donated three copies of “Booklet on Road Safety” to the college library.
Ramana, an IPS officer, spoke about “Traffic Awareness Week” and the importance of honesty in daily activities, the release noted.
