DIMAPUR — St. John College has felicitated two outgoing toppers namely Kaigin J Kuki (Education) and Aman Kumar Yadav (Physics) during a programme held at the chapel hall on July 7.
An update from the college stated that a thanksgiving prayer was offered by Dr. Temsunungla, advisor of evangelical union, followed with presentation of INR 10,000 each to the toppers by the principal, Peter Banks.
Kaigin and Aman were introduced by their respective departments.
After collecting their prizes, the two toppers took time to address their juniors. They offered words of encouragement and challenged them to become toppers in future.
In conclusion, Peter Banks reminded the students that to become a topper one has to work hard from day one. He encouraged the students to take responsibility for their own learning and make the most of their college experience. He stated that the students must be regular and clear their doubts and also use the college facilities to the maximum extent.
