DIMAPUR — The Kohima Village Students’ Union (KVSU) organised a one-day educational fair in order for students to learn more about various courses and institutions, as well as bank loans that are available for them, at Kohima Village Council hall on Thursday.

A total of 31 stalls were set up, ranging from educational institutions to music academies, information technology to vocational institutions, and coaching institutes to banks. Students from over 20 schools and colleges attended the fair.

KVSU general secretary Albert Rutsa said on the occasion that the fair was organised to provide a space where educational institutions could showcase the courses they are providing and banks could talk about loans that are available for students.

He said this was the first educational fair, and the union is looking forward to organising more such events.

Earlier, Helievio Solo, chairman of Kohima Village Council, inaugurated the stalls.

Pep talks were also given on the occasion by Keneisezo Belho (Kenbel), Keneisalie Rutsa (basket making), and Thejangunuo Linyu (Linyu Accessories).
