Sumi Kukami Hoho denounces NSCN (IM) Konyak region’s statement

Dimapur, Aug. 15 (EMN): The Sumi Kukami (GB) Hoho has expressed resentment and anguish at the press statement published by NSCN (IM), Konyak region on August 12, in which it ‘targeted’ the president of Nagaland Goan-Burah Federation (NGBF).

The hoho in a press release issued on Friday stated that the NSCN (IM), Konyak region has ‘targeted and tried to manipulate our honest and committed leader’. It alleged that it was an attempt to create misunderstanding to divide the house of unified gaun buras.

“We condemn such attempt and render our full support to our President Shahlem Konyak’s clarification statement. The NGBF is the apex body of Gaunburas of Nagaland, the village chiefs,” it stated.

The hoho also extended its support the statement issued by the NGBF and 14 tribal hohos, in connection with the early solution and not to change the interlocutor RN Ravi. “We also stand on early solution,” it added.
