DIMAPUR — In the spirit of forgiveness and brotherhood, and in comprehending the necessity to co-exist in harmony and mutual respect, the Sangtamtilla Village Council (SVC) and the ‘ato kilonser’ of NSCN/GPRN (Khango) organised a ‘Prayer programme’ on May 7.
According to a joint press statement issued by H Labo, PS to ato kilonser NSCN (Khango), Litingse, head GB and Asemba Mongzar, chairman of SVC, the programme was initiated to “rekindle the cordial relation that was fractured due to unfortunate skirmish that erupted at Sangtamtilla village in the year 2018, which involved the GPRN/NSCN (U) under the tutelage of Ato Kilonser, NSCN/GPRN (K), who was then a kilonser of the GPRN/NSCN (U).”
Pursuing the sensible approach of ‘Forgive and forget’ to foster the cordial relationship between the two entities, and in the larger interest of the Nagas for the political future, both the parties reconciled through a prayer, it stated.
Moreover, both the ‘entities” also promised to work cohesively to share the yoke of the Naga national cause, and appeal to all Nagas in general to be the catalyst in achieving the acceptable solution to the Naga political issue by working in unison.
