DIMAPUR — A two-day free football camp under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative was held at Rengma Sports Association ground, Tseminyu, on September 14 and the 15th.
The football camp, organised by the deputy commissioner and district election officer of Tseminyu in collaboration with Nagaland Sports Association, was to promote awareness among the voters and registration among the youth population, an update stated.
An exhibition football match was also played between CEO team and DEO Tseminyu.
Earlier, DC and District Election Officer, Dr. Tinojongshi Chang, delivered the keynote address, Keneinguze Immanuel Pienu, State SVEEP icon, also spoke during the inaugural programme.
