The Lighthouse Church sets to host ‘Extreme Explosion 2023’
DIMAPUR — ‘Extreme Explosion 2023,’ an annual event organised by God’s Anointed New Generation (GANG) of The Lighthouse Church, Dimapur, is set to begin on October 6 and 7 at The Lighthouse Church, Dimapur.
Addressing a press conference on Friday at Leon Café, Dimapur, the worship pastor of The Lighthouse Church, Imtirenla Sayer, shared that the event would focus on the campus students from different universities of Dimapur and Chümoukedima districts.
She expressed that they are committed to engaging and connecting with the young people and aim to ignite a journey embracing godly values. She said that through the event, they hope to empower the youth and foster a community anchored in truth, positivity, growth and meaningful connection.
She stated that the main goal of the event was to support the Gen Z youth, particularly students, in their journey to transform lives and cultivate healthy lifestyles through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Yanger Imchen, worship leader, updated that they have approached about 28 colleges for the events. He informed that the events would include immersive worship, live gospel music, expert-led panel discussions on contemporary topics, a vibrant Battle of the Band and others.
He informed that many renowned local artistes such as Abdon Mech, KL Pamei, Alobo Naga and others would feature during the two-day event.
The organisers informed that the registration fee for the two-day event would be charged at INR 100 per head. It was informed that registration for battle of the bands would be free of cost. The participants for battle of the bands should comprise a minimum of three members and a maximum of six only from college students.
