- Avatar: The way of water – INR 453 crore
Released on December 16, 2022 in India, Avatar: The Way of Water, has emerged as the highest-grossing Hollywood film in India. The film has earned over INR 454 crore as of January 11, 2023, crossing Marvel’s Avengers Endgame Box office of INR 438 crore.
A sequel of Avatar and released a decade later, the film traces the life of the Sully family comprising Jake, Neytiri and their kids. Steven Lang’s Quaritch and his tribe attack them and how Sully retorts forms the story.
The sequel is more centered on interpersonal relationships and is about protecting families. The James Cameron’s directorial stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet.
2. Avengers: End Game – INR 440 crore
Avengers: Endgame is a 2019 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team, The Avengers. Released in India on April 29, 2019, the film was widely anticipated by the audience not only in India but globally.

The Jungle Book is a 1967 American animated musical comedy film produced by Walt Disney Productions. Based on Rudyard Kipling’s 1894 book of the same title, it is the 19th Disney animated feature film.
The plot follows Mowgli, a feral child raised in the Indian jungle by wolves, as his friends Bagheera the panther and Baloo the bear try to convince him to leave the jungle before the evil tiger Shere Khan arrives.
The film has grossed over INR 259.30 crore and was released in India on April 8, 2016.
